Resort & Spa right by Sanibel Island. It was a great trip to say the least- minus the plane ride of course. I hate planes and I don't trust them.
My mom, dad, sister, her fiance Mike and niece Marisa all came with us to Florida. It was mine and Herb's last vacation as a family of 2. So we really appreciated the fact that we could sleep as long as we wanted and do whatever we pleased. Next vacation we will
be lugging car seats, strollers, diapers bags etc. Traveling will no longer be simple!In Florida, since I'm over 7 months preggers, we spent most of the time relaxing either at the beach or near the pool. Herb got super burnt the first day so he sat in the shade the rest of the time. I don't understand how someone who is half Italian and put two applications of SPF 30 on got to a crisp. gh with the pain.We went on a sunset dolphin watching cruise our last night there. It was beautiful. We got to see some amazing houses, several dolphins and the sun set
.It was definitely hard leaving Florida and the 90 degree sunny weather. We got to the airport and in both Florida and in Detroit, saw people wearing surgical masks trying to avoid the swine flu. It was a strange sight to say the least.
